Please note that the fields to be used for the jamboree will be decided Thursday when we inspect them. The games scheduled for fields 1 and 2 will most likely stay on those fields. The games scheduled for fields 3 and 4 may move to fields 5 and 6 depending on weather/rain between now and Saturday.
Park Rules: Our park is a county park, so some rules are beyond our control. In short, the biggies are:
· No tobacco products allowed (this includes e-cigs as a result of the recent FL law)
· No alcohol allowed
· No outside food or drink: Club administrators have worked with the park on this, and coolers with water, fruit etc for the players are acceptable.
· No pets
Player Safety: Andrews Institute will have a mobile center centrally located. An ATC will be on site for all games. Any determination made by the trainer regarding player fitness for participation will be final.
Concessions: “Mean Gene’s” concession will be open for the duration of the jamboree. This is a full service concession and Visa and MasterCard welcome.
We are offering a really cool Destin Lacrosse Equipment Bag this year...and many have ordered already!!!
As you can probably tell from the picture above, this is a large (28"L x 13.5"dia) charcoal bag with red end circles and dual red stick sleeves. It has a black heavy duty zipper and black 2" wrap-around webbing & adjustable shoulder strap with a detachable cleat bag. There is custom embroidery on both sides. All bags will have DESTIN LACROSSE on one side and your choice of NAME on the other side. We can vouch for the durability of this bag...we bought one in 2007 for another lax club and it is still in GREAT shape!!!
The cost each bag is $80.
We would like to submit ONE LAST order so that it can be here before the first games on Jan 31st. If you are interested in a bag please place your order by Thursday, Jan 22nd. On Friday we will submit the LAST order for the year. To order, reply to this email [email@example.com] with what you want embroidered on the opposite side of the bag...last name only, first and last name, or nickname...and Chri will respond with payment instructions.
(Regular registration closes on Jan 31st for spring lacrosse...there is a $25 late fee for registrations after Jan 1st) We need your info so we can get uniforms ordered and designate teams, so don't delay!

If you have a Cascade R helmet you will need to follow these procedures in order for it to be considered a legal helmet and be able to be used in any lacrosse event...to include practice.
Call Customer Service: 800-537-1702
They will ask you for how many boxes you have of Cascade R helmets. This can be done individually or as a team. Remember to mark your name in your helmet
Based on the number of boxes, they will send you a "call tag" from UPS.
They will need to know the pick up address and the redeliver address.
The helmets will take approximately 2 WEEKS to be corrected and in compliance with NOSCAE.
This process began, December 13th.
This is a national recall and US Lacrosse is taking this very seriously...READ: no liability protection for the individual or organization if something were to happen that could be attributed to a non-compliant helmet.
